Short characteristics of the site: Natural outcrops on a plain formed by marlstones of the Bílá hora Formation. Adjacent deep gorges expose Turonian marlstones and Cenomanian sandstones. Pseudokarst phenomena are common: swallow holes, ventaroles. A geomorphologically significant locality.
